Whats cooking with Hamilton?

Hamilton,his rise from a promising rookie to a championship favorite within a very short time, has taken the entire racing world by surprise.Such an astonishing stint of performances in his debut season must be like a dream for him.

Looks like he pinched himself and found out that its not a dream,but real :)

So, Hamilton likes to use the clause in his McLaren contract that allows for revisiting of his $300,000 per year retainer in the event that he is leading the World Championship by the mid-point of the season.

With his teammate Fernando Alonso enjoying a multi-million dollar deal, it is natural to look for a hike,esp when u r leading the championship. But isn't this too early to negotiate.
